Rowing - Outdoor
Austin rowing Club
Team Survivor has been partnering with the non-profit Austin Rowing Club (ARC) to bring the joy of rowing to our members since 2010. A staple of the rowing community located in the heart of Austin on Lady Bird Lake, ARC is also the oldest rowing club in Texas.
Team Survivor Rowing Program
The Team Survivor rowing group meets every week for practice on the water with an ARC coach, using single, double, or quad sculling boats as decided by the group for that session. Everything you need is included.
Those new to rowing first complete 10 indoor rowing sessions with our partner Rō Fitness to safely learn the basics and ensure proper form. Rō Fitness and ARC are both at the same location, the Waller Creek Boathouse.
How to join the rowing program
- Contact rowing program lead Leslie Bagby and let her know you're interested.
- Depending on your experience, you will first complete 10 indoor rowing sessions with Rō Fitness before joining the group on the water.
