Each February, Capital of Texas Team Survivor participates in the erg rodeo on the University of Texas at Austin campus. We train at Rō Fitness’ two locations; Downtown at the Austin Rowing Club, 74 Trinity St., and in Tarrytown, 2425 Exposition Blvd Suite E-1.
If you are a cancer survivor, register with Team Survivor to participate in the event.
The Head of the Colorado, aka PumpkinHead Regatta
Team Survivor Austin prepares for the Head of the Colorado, by training at the Austin Rowing Club on Saturday mornings from 10am to noon. Training consists of rowing lessons with coach Patrick Kelly using Austin Rowing Club’s boats, rowing on Lady Bird Lake. Participation in the regatta is not required for taking part in this program, but we have found that having a goal gives the women a sense of purpose and something more tangible to work towards.
If you are a cancer survivor that wants to participate in this program, please register with us.
Mamma Jamma Ride Against Breast Cancer
Sponsoring a team of 60+ CTTS members, friends & supporters in a one-day ride that takes place every fall. We are proud to be one of the 10 local beneficiaries that offer support programs to breast cancer patients and survivors. CTTS helps support local training rides each weekend during the months leading up to the ride. As a team, riders may choose their distance at the ride and show support for one another in their CTTS cycling jerseys. Please sign up at Mamma Jamma Ride with Team Survivor if you are interested in participating.
